Open string – BMN operator correspondence in the weak coupling regime

We reproduce the correspondence between open string states |n〉 and BMN operators On in N = 2 supersymmetric gauge theory by worldsheet computation via a relarion 〈B|n〉 = On, where 〈B| is a boundary state of D3-branes. We take the NS ground states and their excitations by a bosonic oscillator as the state |n〉 and obtain a chiral and BMN operators as their correspondents, respectively. Because we assume the weak coupling constant and the background spacetime is not AdS but flat Minkowski, the string states |n〉 are circular waves around the D3-branes instead of KK modes on S. We also discuss the 1/J correction to the correspondence. 1 typeset using PTPTEX.cls 〈Ver.0.86〉
